Site investigations are expensive and quarry managment change over the years (as do the appointed consultants!) but the deposit does not.  As industrial geologists we have come across 'old' site investigation data that relates to unworked areas but is useless due to poor recording.  QuarryDesign pride themselves on producing high quality digital photographs of all site investigation samples whether they are 'sonic' samples, test pit samples or even  'quarry shot rig' chipping samples.

In addition to photographing the samples; we produce clear, detailed, borehole logs.  All borehole and test pit locations are recorded using a hand-held differential (WAAS enabled) GPS as a minimum standard.  

 
 

 

Finally, the data is analysed and presented in a form that makes the most complex geological model appear simple.
